I think you should give the sharks lasers.. that way they can defend themselves from the zombie sharks who are taking over the oceans. but then if a laser shark becomes a zombie shark it would be a zombie shark with a laser so first i think we should invent a zombie detection algorithm that syncs up with the shark genes. This way the laser can be deactivated or even self destruct killing the zombie shark population once an for all. The real problem here isn't the diminishing shark population but the rising zombie shark population. DARWIN WINS AGAIN!!!
